Head and Heart continued…

The word that the Bible uses to explain this problem is sin.  This means living lives with ourselves at the centre, regardless of the pain this may cause God, others and even ourselves.

If we are to know God then we must choose to love him and put him before everything else – even ourselves.

The following verses, taken from the Bible, explain how sin prevents us from knowing God:

”For all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory”
