Spiritual longing

There is a spiritual longing that is not satisfied by an explanation of life as being the random result of us having just fallen into place. This spiritual longing is expressed in many different ways. Some feel close to God as they walk in a beautiful wood or by the sea, others as they listen to music or appreciate a beautiful work of art. Somehow, as we experience these times, they help us to feel connected with something greater than ourselves.

Is it possible that this something greater is a personal God who has created us and placed within us a longing to know him?
